Google Chrome user is good news. Now the security of Google Chrome will be increased. This will also save users from harmful downloads or extensions. A new feature is being released for this. This will allow Chrome to detect harmful downloads or extensions. This new feature is a part of Enhanced Safe Browsing.

With Google's new safety feature

Enhanced Safe Browsing, Google Chrome will now offer more protection when downloading risky files. Along with this, a scanning tool will also be introduced. With the help of this, information about dangerous files will be available even before downloading.

This feature was launched last year for safe browsing. Edition protection is being given in this feature. In this case, when you install a new extension from the Chrome Web Store, a dialog box will appear, which will tell whether the extension you are installing is secure or not.

The file will be scanned

The file will be uploaded to Google Safe Browsing for more analysis. If the file is unsafe, Google will warn you about it. Although this has been kept optional i.e. you can download the file without scanning it.
