It will take you approximately 3 hours to cover the distance from Gaggal to Bir by road.

For tourists who wish to travel by train, there is no direct rail connection to Bir. The nearest broad gauge station is at Pathankot, located 112.4 km away, while the nearest narrow gauge station is at Ahju, located barely 3 km away from Bir. The toy train runs from Pathankot to Ajju.
