Corona Vulnerability to the Captain of the Spanish Football Team

European Football

The 16th European Football Championship (Euro), which will feature 24 teams including Germany, Spain, Portugal, and France, will take place in 11 countries from the 11th of next month (July 11). Each team is engaged in a training match in preparation for this tournament.

In this case, the captain of the Spanish football team Sergio Baskets for the Euro match has been diagnosed with a corona infection.

Following this, he is being treated in isolation from the team. None of the other players on the team suffered corona damage.

However, the Spanish team management said that those who were in close contact with him would be isolated as a precaution.

Spain meets Sweden on the 14th in their first league match. It is doubtful that Sergio Baskets will play in this game. Sergio, 32, has played in more than 120 matches for Spain.

He was part of the Spanish team that won the 2010 World Cup and the 2012 Euro Cup.
