Asus Rog Phone 5 Models Launched in India. Know the Price

The base variant of Asus ROG Phone 5 offers 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, which is priced at Rs 49,999. Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate's 18GB RAM + 512GB storage option has been introduced for Rs 79,999.

Asus has launched the latest gaming smartphone ROG Phone 5 in India. The phone comes in three models, including ROG Phone 5, ROG Phone 5 Pro, and ROG Phone 5 Ultimate. All models come with tremendous specifications. Asus's new gaming phones work on the flagship Snapdragon 888 chipset built on Qualcomm's 5nm process. These include LPDDR5 RAM up to 18GB and UFS 3.1 storage options up to 512GB. 


The phones come with a 64-megapixel triple rear camera setup and a 24-megapixel selfie camera setup. The displays of the three Asus ROG Phone 5 smartphones support 144Hz refresh rate and 300Hz touch sampling rate.

The base variant of Asus ROG Phone 5 offers 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, which is priced at Rs 49,999. The second variant of the phone comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, which has been launched for Rs 57,999. At the same time, the 16GB RAM + 512GB storage option of Asus ROG Phone 5 Pro has been launched for Rs 69,999. Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate 's 18GB RAM + 512GB storage option has been introduced for Rs 79,999. 


Asus ROG Phone 5 will get Phantom Black and Storm White color options in a glossy finish, while ROG Phone 5 Pro will get Phantom Black shade. At the same time, the ROG Phone 5 will be available in Storm White with an ultimate matte finish. 

At the moment, Asus has not shared any information about the availability of these smartphones

 

 with ROG Phone 5, AsusHas also introduced an optional ROG Kunai 3 gamepad, professional dock, ROG clip, and lighting arm case. The phone also has an AeroActive Cooler 5, which includes two physical air trigger buttons, a kickstand, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The dual-sim (Nano) Asus ROG Phone 5 runs on Android 11 based ROG UI and ZenUI custom interfaces. The phone comes with a 6.78-inch full-HD + (1,080x2,448 pixels) AMOLED display, which supports 20.4: 9 aspect ratios, 144Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness up to 1,200nits. The display also includes DC dimming support and is equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus Protection. The ROG Phone 5 comes with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset paired with Adreno 660 GPU and LPDDR5 RAM up to 18GB. 


The phone also includes a completely new thermal design called GameCool. Similar to last year's ROG Phone 3, the ROG Phone 5 also features AirTrigger 5, dual front-firing speakers, Multi-antenna comes with Wi-Fi, and a quad-mic noise-canceling system. For a better gaming experience than before, it has ultrasonic buttons. The ROG Phone 5 Ultimate also includes two extra capacitive areas on the back cover.


The Asus ROG Phone 5 has a triple rear camera setup, which is equipped with an f / 1.8 aperture 64-megapixel primary Sony IMX686 sensor, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with f / 2.4 aperture, and a 5-megapixel macro lens. The phone has a 24-megapixel selfie sensor in the front, which comes with an F / 2.45 aperture.


ROG Phone 5 offers up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage and the phone does not support a microSD card, but an external HDD can be installed in it. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS / A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C port (one on the bottom and one on the side), and 3.5mm headphone jack. There is also a pogo pin connector for external accessories.


Like the ROG Phone 3, the ROG Phone 5 has the ROG logo on the back, with RGB light. On the other hand, ROG Phone 5 Pro model includes ROG Vision Color PMOLED display and ROG Phone Ultimate includes ROG Vision monochrome PMOLED display. The PMOLED displays included on both ROG phone models support customizable graphics.

 

 Asus ROG Phone 5 has a dual-cell 6,000mAh battery, which supports 65W fast charging. The dimensions of the phone are 172.8x77.2x10.29mm and weigh 238 grams.
